Can you start a small business through affiliate marketing? Is working from home a real possibility? Let’s take a married guy two kids for example, who has a mortgage, with lots of bills? The answer is yes and no, it depends on you! Will it be easy? No. Are you going to have to learn? Yes. It’s like every thing else if you really desire to work from home bad enough, you’ll get there. Let’s be clear however, that usually means and to be successful you’ll need to learn and if you’re beginning from 0 that’s a steep learning curve. Being an affiliate marketer, basically means you are a middle man between the company or product and the customer. You direct the customer to that company or product and gain money if they buy or join. How? Well, by advertising your affiliate links, which are given to you by the company or program you join. Your links take the customer to your landing page or the companies website.No direct selling is needed, just determination to apply the techniques that you need. There are so many ways to promote and advertise your opportunity that they can’t be covered in any depth here. It’s important to note that there are as many effective free methods as paid, so using both is the right approach.

To start a small business you’ll have to learn how to Write articles about your affiliation or opportunity/business and submit it to article sites. Press releases are also very effective and similar to articles. Articles are a bit like web pages or blogs and are rated on search engines. In your article, key words are very important so use for example vintage car, or something relating to your opportunity and repeat it throughout the article. Worth checking to see how many pages come up when you Google the possible title of your article.

To start a small business you’ll also have to make a blog, which is free to do and then link all your articles to it. Traffic exchanges are another way that you can advertise for free, although time consuming they can often can be effective. How much have we spent? That’s right, 0! Of course once these methods bring in some commissions you can reinvest some of it in PPC advertising or other paid advertising and consequently attract more customers. People are often looking to be spoon fed or want it all on a plate. The advert might promise you that but believe me it won’t.

So can you star a small business ? Yes. Is it possible to change your working future? Well that depends on how much time and effort you are prepared to put in and how much you learn. Be realistic, no business grows without investing money. I have changed my life, although I’d say it took me at least 6 or 7 months to get things moving in the right direction.
